Scholarship Program

The Josephine County Master Gardener Association maintains a scholarship program geared at high school seniors who plan to continue their education in the study of horticulture (very broadly defined).

The scholarship amount of $500 is awarded annually as part of the awards ceremony program for each of the high schools in Josephine County. Home schooled students may also apply. Continuing education does not necessarily have to be in a four year college program:

bulletStudent must have a 3.0 G.P.A.
bulletSenior in Josephine County
bulletSubmit two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member)

Students can apply through their high school guidance counselors.
